The 2026 BECE Mathematics paper was written on Thursday, May 7, 2026.
The feedback from the learners who took the paper was that the questions were within their expectation.
There was, however, a question on surds in Paper 2 that required rationalization of the denominator. This was the first time such a question had appeared on the BECE so it caught some of them off guard.
